Project Description
Matt started climbing in the Gunks in 2014 and was immediately hooked. After moving to the area in 2020, he became deeply invested in the local climbing community, with a strong focus on protecting and expanding climbing access in the Gunks.
He serves as a Mountain Project admin for the area, helping steward information and support responsible use of the cliffs. He also enjoys new route development and contributing to the continued growth of climbing in the region.
Outside of climbing, he enjoys running, skiing, and hiking, and values spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter.
