September 26, 2015 – Climbers Day at Tuthilltown Spirits
Climber Ralph Erenzo built and managed New York City’s first public climbing gyms including The ExtraVertical Climbing Center on Broadway. After moving to Gardiner, he founded Tuthilltown Spirits, the oldest distillery in New York State and creates internationally awarded Hudson Whiskeys.
This Saturday, 9/26, Ralph invites all Gunks climbers to Tuthilltown Spirits for a CLIMBERS DAY at the distillery, located in Gardiner, just down the road from the Gunks at 14 Gristmill Lane, Gardiner. Just show your Mohonk Preserve Climbing Pass, for FREE tours and tasting at the distillery from 1pm till 6pm (Ralph says he will try to keep the shop open until 7:30pm for those climbing until dusk). Take a little early break and come sip some of the first whiskeys made in New York since Prohibition. For more information write: rerenzo@tuthilltown.com, or call: 845-797-9010
