June 17/19/20, 2026—Strength to Weight Screening
The Gunks Climbers’ Coalition and the Denizen Theatre present Strength to Weight, Wed 6/17, Fri 6/19, Sat 6/20.
A CLIMBER DISCOVERS THE WEIGHT OF GRIEF AND THE STRENGTH OF LOVE
As professional climber Ethan Pringle navigates his father’s stroke, he learns that grief is the path to love and his truest, strongest self.
Ethan Pringle is at the peak of his climbing career when he is blind-sided by his father’s severe stroke. Torn between two realities, at home in San Francisco taking care of his dad and the pressure of being a professional athlete, he eventually has to break open emotionally to rise to the challenge in this masculine and vulnerable father-son story.
Tickets at www.DenizenTheatre.org ($10 admission). Located at 10 Main Street, New Paltz (upper level of Water Street Market).
