GunksFest is back!

Mark your calendars for our fifth anniversary event this October 10-11, 2026, over Indigenous People’s weekend.
We’ve got some huge changes afoot this year (announcements coming soon), aiming to make GunksFest V our biggest and best festival yet. We’re continuing our tradition of celebrating Gunks climbing with two days of clinics, adventure films, vendors, demos, guest speakers, and more!
As usual you can expect tons of technical clinics led by our local amazing guide services like @gunksguides, @riseoutsidecollective, @alpineendeavors, and @mountainskillz – as well as sidecar clinics for climbers and non-climbers alike.
Historically we have offered everything from intensive self-rescue and anchor-building clinics to mushroom foraging and climbing photography, and even a full-weekend SPI certification course.
So much more to come, but mark your calendars for what is lining up to be our most exciting event yet!
And if you are part of a JEDI climbing organization, a local vendor, or interested in volunteering – get in touch with us, we’ve got a spot for you.
